Current Projects
We undertake transcribing work on a regular basis and all of our projects are deposited at the Local History & Archives Library for everyone to use.
Lancashire BMD Project
We are working in conjunction with the Local Registrar's office at St Helens and the Lancashire BMD project in transcribing the birth, marriage and death indexes. Since October 2006 we have uploaded in excess of 360,000 St Helens, Rainford, and Newton-Le-Willows birth registration indexes. For the first time researchers can identify St Helens births previously listed on the GRO index as Prescot.
St Joseph's RC and St Vincent's
Baptism and Marriage records are currently being transcribed for publicaton on CD.
St Marks, Windle
